Pie and Coffee Chat to explore Amish traditions

Alden District Library will host “Pie and Coffee Chat: Buggies, Beards, and Bonnets” from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at the Helena Township Community Center, 8751 Helena Road, featuring presenter Carmen Yoder, who grew up in a Mennonite family and will share stories and lead discussions on Amish history, traditions, language and culture. Pie and coffee will be served. The event is free, RSVPs are not required but appreciated, and the program is sponsored by the Alden District Library and Friends.
