Jack Pine Enduro race attracts record numbers

Racers start the 69-mile Jack Pine Enduro race in Moorestown Sunday. 

 

MOORESTOWN — Hundreds of dirt bike riders from around the country and state competed in the 100th Jack Pine Enduro race near Moorestown last weekend.

The Lansing Motorcycle Club hosted the two-day event, which attracted about 800 riders.

“I’m afraid of the turnout,” said Lansing Motorcycle Club President Thomas Dunn. “Normally, we have about 300 to 350 riders. The nationals are 500, and we haven’t had a national since 2015. I knew it was going to be big.”
