The weekly invasive species pull is every Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grass River Natural Area in Bellaire. GRNA is not immune to having invasive species, but we work hard to get rid of them. Join us by volunteering on our weekly invasive species pull and help assist Conservation Director, Sean Callahan, identify, remove and dispose of them. The Alden Depot Museum will hold its annual Model Train Show and Swap Meet in Alden on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continue each Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 17 and 18 and Aug. 24 and 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and the show features several model train layouts from N-gauge to large Lionel Standard gauge.
