Mancelona to celebrate downtown growth with ribbon cutting

New businesses, longtime establishments and continued investment are bringing renewed activity to downtown Mancelona. The community is invited to celebrate the progress during a ribbon cutting ceremony and walking tour of the State Street business district Friday, Sept. 25, beginning at noon.

MANCELONA – The community is invited to downtown Mancelona on Friday, Sept. 25 for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new businesses and continued investment helping revitalize the State Street district. The event will also recognize and thank Mancelona’s established businesses whose ongoing commitment and investment in the community have helped make that growth possible. State, county and local officials are expected to attend, along with representatives of state agencies that have assisted the village and local entrepreneurs through grants, programs and other services.
