New “Walk the Wild” 5K scheduled for Sept. 12

EAST JORDAN — The first-ever “Walk the Wild 5K” will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12. This universally accessible race will be held on the Don and Eileen Klein Boardwalk and Trail and the Little Traverse Conservancy Rogers Family Homestead Preserve in East Jordan. 

Participants will be helping support the Friends of the Jordan River Watershed fund restoration projects, trail improvements, environmental education and community outreach that keeps the watershed healthy and accessible.
